Edgar Springs, MO. – A school bus accident has led to the injury of six juvenile passengers, and the adult driver.
This accident took place on Missouri Highway M, roughly 1 mile West of Edgar Springs. The bus was a 2012 Chevy model school bus driven by Judy Harris, 60 of Edgar Springs. According to the report, the bus was travelling Westbound when it ran off the right side of the roadway and struck a sign. The driver overcorrected when returning to the roadway and exited off the left side and struck an embankment.
8 juveniles, aged 4 through 12, were inflicted with minor injuries as a result of the accident. The driver also suffered minor injuries. All were taken by private conveyance to Phelps Health in Rolla for treatment.
The investigation on this accident was performed by Trooper J.R. Chronister of the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Troop I.
