An accident south of Bakersfield on Highway 101 forced authorities to shut down one lane of traffic while crews tended to cleanup and off loading of contents.
The accident occurred when a 58-year-old Mountain View man failed to negotiate a curve in a 1998 Peterbilt Semi and overturned.

The driver was transported to Ozarks Healthcare in West Plains for treatment of moderate injuries. According to the crash report he was not wearing a safety belt.
