Eminence, MO. – A two-vehicle crash in Shannon County has hospitalized one of the drivers, according to a recent report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
The crash occurred when a Ford Taurus operated by Christopher Long, a 25-year-old from West Harrison, Indiana, rear-ended a Jeep Wrangler driven by John Coney, 67 of Eminence. This occurred at 12:20pm on July 10th, when Coney had stopped on Missouri Route 19 while travelling Southbound to make a left turn.
The Taurus was totaled, but Long sustained no listed injury. The Wrangler was moderately damaged, but the driver sustained injuries listed as moderate in nature. He was transported to Ozarks Healthcare in West Plains for treatment.
The investigation for this incident was performed by Trooper N.A. Frazier of the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Troop G.
