From OzSBI:
[West Plains, MO]—The Ozarks Small Business Incubator (OzSBI) is excited to continue supporting businesses across Southern Missouri by promoting the Verizon Small Business Digital Ready online curriculum. This free program equips entrepreneurs with essential tools to thrive in today’s digital economy, offering access to personalized learning plans, expert coaching, and networking opportunities with diverse, industry-specific businesses.
One of the most compelling features of the program is the opportunity to apply for a $10,000 small business grant. Verizon awards over $1 million annually in grants to businesses that register for the Digital Ready platform and complete at least two qualifying courses. The current grant application window is open now through June 30, 2025. Once the course requirements are met, applying takes just a few minutes.
“Grants for small businesses are rare, and the application process is often complex and competitive,” said Heather Fisher, CEO of OzSBI. “What makes this program so exciting is that the grant is tied to a digital curriculum packed with the exact kind of tools business owners need—from digital marketing to tax preparation, financial reporting, and networking. And the application itself is a breeze.”
The Verizon Small Business Digital Ready program was developed by Next Street, a nonprofit organization committed to connecting entrepreneurs with the resources they need to grow and succeed in today’s competitive business landscape. The platform provides a customized experience for each user, including tailored learning paths, coaching, peer networking, and access to grant funding.
OzSBI encourages all small business owners in the region to take advantage of this free, valuable resource.
