A Springfield woman was injured Friday morning in a single‑vehicle crash on Clay Bank Road, five miles north of Mansfield. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the 39‑year‑old driver was heading south when her 2015 Nissan Sentra crossed the roadway, went off the left side, struck an embankment, and overturned.
Troopers say she was not wearing a seat belt and suffered minor injuries. She was taken to Cox South in Springfield for treatment.

The driver was charged with DWI, No Seat Belt, Failure to Drive on the Right Half of the Roadway and No Proof of Insurance.
