Squires Man Arrested by MSHP After Crash

A Squires man was taken into custody Friday evening following a crash that investigators say was caused by impaired driving.

According to The Missouri State Highway Patrol, 43‑year‑old David Soto was arrested around 6:48 p.m. on March 13 after failing to drive on the right half of the roadway, resulting in a collision. No additional injury details were immediately released.

Deputies say Soto was taken into custody on multiple charges, including endangering the welfare of a child, driving while intoxicated (alcohol) — misdemeanor, and failure to drive on the right half of the roadway resulting in a crash.

Soto was booked into the Douglas County Jail on a 24‑hour hold.
