West Plains, MO. – For the past few weeks, construction and traffic cones have been seen along 63 when moving past Ozarks Healthcare in West Plains, due to the construction and addition of a new traffic light in the area. According to a recent post from MoDOT, the light has been completed and is in use. Motorists should be aware of the change and plan accordingly on their route.
But construction isn’t finished in the area yet. “We’re actually getting ready to start on Phase 2 as well…” says Emily Gibson, the Planning Director for the City. She goes on to say “this will be improvements on Alaska (Street), on the East side”. Construction for the project as a whole is aimed to be finished by the end of the year.
