Storm Spotter Training Class to Happen in Ava

Ava, MO. – The Ava Rural Fire Department is organizing a Storm Spotter Training class next month for those interested in learning how to identify storms, or learning more about how the weather works in general.

This training class is being performed in conjunction with the National Weather Service, and is open to the public. Officials state that it will take place on February 28th from 9am to noon at the Copepland facility cafeteria. This can be found at 1400 Lyle Street.

Officials go on to state that no RSVP isn’t needed for this event; simply show up to take part.
