AVA, Mo. — A 16-year-old from Ava suffered minor injuries Saturday after the vehicle she was operating ran off-road, hit a ditch, and overturned.
A Highway Patrol report states the unidentified 16-year-old’s vehicle also hit a telephone pole, utility box, and fence.

The girl was taken from the scene of the 1:12 pm accident to Mercy Hospital in Spingfield. The accident happened 4 miles west of Ava on Highway 76.
