Rockbridge, MO. – An Ava teen was involved in a one-vehicle crash Friday, located at Highway N, two miles west of Rockbridge, MO.
The 16-year-old female was traveling in an eastbound 2002 Ford Taurus, which was totaled in the accident. The crash occurred as the teen ran off the right side of the roadway and overcorrected, leading them back off the right side of the roadway. They then struck a ditch and overturned.

The teen was moderately injured and was transported via private vehicle to Cox South in Springfield for treatment. It is unknown whether she had been wearing her safety device.
This accident was investigated by Trooper W.A. Wadlington of the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Troop G.
