Houston, MO— Texas County Memorial Hospital celebrated its exceptional staff during National Hospital Week, which took place from May 12 to May 16.
TCMH marked this annual occasion with a variety of activities organized for employees throughout the week. On Monday, staff enjoyed popcorn and Italian ice, while Tuesday included the distribution of t-shirts to all employees. Food trucks were available from Monday to Thursday, featuring Native Sons, Filipino Favorites, Branded Burrito, Dog On Its, and Custard by C-Sue.
An employee health fair was held on Wednesday and Thursday, offering interactive fun games with cash prizes. Employees also had access to complimentary lab draws, which included CBC, CMP, TSH, and a lipid panel. Additionally, various health checks were available, such as blood pressure assessments, pulse oximetry tests, screenings for coronary artery disease risk factors, and physical therapy lifting.
The week culminated on Friday with a delicious barbecue meal for all hospital employees.
With over 400 full-time and part-time employees, TCMH truly values the dedication of its wonderful staff. “This week is a special time for us to say a big thank you to our team for their amazing commitment and hard work every single day,” Bill Bridges, TCMH chief executive officer, remarked.
