TCMH Surgical Center Project – Final Phase:

  • TCMH is seeking to replace an outdated 40+ year-old surgery area at the Hospital.
  • The new Surgery Center will bring a state-of-the-art facility to TCMH and provide a much-needed upgrade to a vital patient care area. Ultimately, the project will enhance efforts to care for thousands of patients in the years to come.

Surgical Center Facility:

  • Current surgery area that is 4,000 Sq. Ft. with the new larger Surgery Center (6,000 -7,000 Sq. Ft.). It would include two operating rooms, one procedure room, an anesthesia area, multiple pre-operating and post-operating bays, a sterile supply area, and additional space for medical staff to better meet the critical needs of surgical patients.
  • A new Surgery Center will significantly enhance the delivery of basic, vital health services to the rural area. Whether it is a mother undergoing a procedure during the delivery of a newborn or another patient receiving one of our 1,400+ surgical procedures per year, the members of our community deserve the best care, latest technology, and an updated facility for their wellbeing.
  • The Surgery Center will bring enhanced patient privacy and an opportunity for significant upgrades in technology and infrastructure in lieu of the existing older structure.
