Cabool, MO. – A late night pursuit on the night of June 20th has led to the arrest of one woman from Texas.
At around 11:18pm, Jazmin Zavala born in 2000, was witnessed by the Missouri State Highway Patrol performing a lane violation. When a traffic stop was initiated, Zavala refused to yield and attempted to flee.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol, the Texas County Sheriff’s Office, and the Cabool PD were all involved in stopping Zavala, which included multiple uses of spike strips.
When the suspect was finally stopped, she continued to resist and had to be tased before being taken into custody.
Zavala is facing two felony charges, Aggravated Fleeing a Stop or Detention, and Resisting/Interfering with Arrest for a Felony.
