Willow Springs, MO. – The Missouri State Highway Patrol will be holding their annual Torch Run this Wednesday, May 21st.
This yearly event is run for the purpose of elevating the local Special Olympics athletes that organize and compete at state or national level events.
The Torch Run this year will take place starting at the Troop G headquarters at 8am, and will see runners from the Highway Patrol and other emergency services running through Willow Springs. Then, at 9, the group will travel down to West Plains starting from the north side of town and run their way to the south side, ending at Dairy Queen.
