On July 17, 2025, the Shannon County Sheriff’s Office concluded an investigation into a case of child abuse resulting in the arrest of Conan Sharp, Edith Acklin, and Kelly Acklin. All three have been charged with Class D Felony – Abuse or Neglect of a Child under RSMo 568.060.5(1).
Conan Sharp is being held on a $25,000 cash-only bond.
Edith and Kelly Acklin are each being held on $5,000 cash-only bonds.
All three individuals are prohibited from having any contact with the victim.
