Three people were seriously injured in an early morning Monday(7/27) accident.
According to Troop G of the Missouri State Highway Patrol, A vehicle driven by Tommy Deluna, 28, of Thayer, ran off of the road in the middle of a curve and struck embankment. Deluna was seriously injured and taken by air ambulance to a Springfield hospital.
Two passengers were also seriously injured:
Katherine Brotherton, 36, of Caulfield, was taken by ambulance to Ozarks Medical Center.
Kevin Skiver, 51, of West Plains, was taken by ambulance to an area medical facility.
The accident happened at 12:15 a.m. Monday on County Road 8230, 1/4 mile south of West Plains.
