West Plains, MO – The pursuit of two people on a motorcycle ended in a two-vehicle accident in West Plains on Thursday, October 7, 2021.
The incident began at 6:22 p.m. on October 7 when Howell County Sheriff’s Deputy Matt Roberts attempted to conduct a traffic stop on Bratton Avenue in West Plains on a black motorcycle. The motorcycle fled after Deputy Roberts initiated his emergency lights and siren. The fleeing motorcycle struck a vehicle at the intersection of North Howell and Olden Street, ejecting both the driver and passenger.
