A Gamaliel woman died Tuesday afternoon in a single‑vehicle crash on State Highway 101 North. The Arkansas State Police report 67‑year‑old Cynthia D. Boland was driving a 2009 Dodge northbound when her vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree on the driver’s side.
The crash happened around 4:10 p.m. in rainy, wet conditions. Boland was taken to Baxter Regional Medical Center, and her body was released to the Baxter County Coroner. Corporal Nathan Litty investigated the crash.
