Salem, MO. – The Missouri State Highway Patrol say that a two-vehicle crash yesterday afternoon has ended with serious injuries for those involved.
On Highway 19 in Dent County, a 17-year-old male driver from Salem driving a Chevy Silverado failed to negotiate a curve, crossed the centerline, and struck a Chrysler Town and Country, totaling both vehicles.
The teen driver of the Silverado was inflicted with serious injuries and was taken to Salem Memorial Hospital. The driver and occupant of the Chrysler, a 70-year-old male and a 68-year-old female, both of Salem, were both injuried as well. The driver sustained moderate injuries and was taken to Salem Memorial, and the female occupant was seriously injured, and was flown to Cox in St. Louis for life-saving care.
