An Accident West of Ellington has claimed the life of an Eminence man and seriously injured two others.
The accident occurred on Highway 106 eight miles west of Ellington when a 45-year-old Eminence man drove off the right side of the highway and struck a tree in a 2012 GMC Sierra.
There were two passengers in the vehicle, a 53-year-old Eminence man who was pronounced deceased and a 39-year-old Bebee, Arkansas man who was seriously injured. The driver and the 39-year-old passenger were airlifted to Cox South in Springfield with serious injuries.
This marked Troop G’s 20th fatality this year as compared to 13 at this time last year.
