Two Willow Springs Residents Charged with Drug Trafficking After Receiving Narcotics in a FedEx Package

On June 18, 2025, the Howell County Sheriff’s Office SWAT executed a narcotics search warrant at a residence on Pine Grove Road in Willow Springs. The search warrant, obtained by South Central Drug Task Force was granted for distribution of narcotics.
 
The narcotics were located at a FedEx building by West Plains Police Department Officer Brent Mckemie and his K9 partner prior to being delivered to the residence. After locating the narcotics, South Central Drug Task Force Officers applied for and a search warrant was granted for the address.
 
After receiving the search warrant, a controlled delivery of the package was made. Once the occupants of the residence accepted the package SWAT and SCDTF arrived at the residence and executed the search warrant.
 
Approximately 281 grams (NEARLY 10 OUNCES) of methamphetamine was seized. Jody Cunningham, 39 of Willow Springs was arrested and later charged with 1st Degree Drug Trafficking, 2 Counts of Endangering the Welfare Of A Child 1st Degree, and 2 counts of Unlawful Possession of a Firearm with a $100,000 bond.
 
Donald Pearce 44, of Willow Springs was arrested and later charged with 1st Degree Drug Trafficking, 2 Counts of Endangering the Welfare Of A Child 1st Degree, and 2 counts of Unlawful Possession of a Firearm with a $100,000 bond.
