WEST PLAINS, Mo. — The Veterans Day parade in the city of West Plains has been canceled.
Officials told Ozark Radio News Thursday morning that the parade, scheduled for Monday morning, has been canceled due to expected inclement weather.

The annual veterans’ luncheon at the West Plains Civic Center scheduled for noon on Monday, November 11 and the West Plains High School Zizzer Pride Band’s 21st annual “A Musical Salute to Veterans” at 1:30 pm are still scheduled to take place.
There is no charge for the events, and all veterans and their families are welcome to attend.
