Starting immediately, the West Plains Fire Department will be conducting Pre-Plans along Porter Wagoner Blvd, from McFarland Drive to Broadway Street.
These visits are not inspections. Instead, they’re a proactive step to help firefighters respond more effectively in emergencies. Crews will go door-to-door at local businesses to gather important information, such as:
– Building layout, access points, and fire protection systems
– Hours of operation, key holders, and emergency contacts
– Location of alarms, sprinklers, and breaker boxes
– Any potential hazards or materials on-site
Crews may take photos of building exteriors and breaker boxes as part of the process.
All WPFD personnel will identify themselves and show their badge as proof of employment.
