A West Plains man was seriously injured in a motorcycle crash Saturday evening in Howell County. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred at 7:40 p.m. on County Road 4280, about eleven miles west of West Plains.
Troopers say 34‑year‑old male was riding a 2021 Quipai motorcycle westbound when the crash occurred. The motorcycle sustained minor damage and was driven from the scene, but the rider—who was not wearing a safety device—suffered serious injuries.

He was airlifted by Air Evac to Cox South Hospital in Springfield for treatment. The Patrol reports he had no insurance listed.
