West Plains Resident Injured with Rolla Resident In One-Vehicle Crash

Miller County, MO. – A 25-year-old West Plains resident has been injured together with a 31-year-old man from Rolla in a one-vehicle crash that happened on the evening of November 23rd.

Charles Moentmann, 31 of Rolla, was the driver of a 2006 Chevy Uplander that was travelling Westbound on Missouri 52. At around 8:30pm, near Hall Store Road, Moentmann travelled off the left side of the roadway, overcorrected, traveled off the right side of the roadway, and overturned.

Sarah Reid, a 25-year-old passenger from West Plains, sustained minor injuries, while Moentmann was inflicted with serious injuries. Moentmann was not wearing his safety device.

Both were transported to Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach for treatment.

This accident was investigated by Trooper T.R. Rosa of the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Troop F.
