Tunas, MO. – A West Plains woman received medical treatment in central Missouri following a crash in Dallas County on Friday. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol report, the crash occurred on Highway 73, three miles north of Tunas, Missouri at 5:15 p.m. on May 13th.
A southbound Ford Ecosport driven by Coulton Baker, age 27 of West Plains, swerved to avoid an animal, traveling off the right side of the roadway and striking a tree. The passenger of the vehicle, Jessica Flynn, age 35, suffered moderate injuries and was taken to Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach for treatment.

The driver and occupant of the vehicle had been wearing their safety devices.
