The Community Blood Center of the Ozarks (CBCO) is inviting Willow Springs residents to give the gift of life at an upcoming community blood drive on Thursday, July 31, from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM at St. Paul Lutheran – Fellowship Hall, 701 Main Street.
Donors will receive a free day pass to SuperSplash USA (a $44.99 value), a plush beach towel, and entry into a $10,000 dream vacation giveaway, courtesy of Springfield KIA and The Resource Center.
CBCO supplies blood to more than 40 area hospitals, including Ozarks Healthcare and Texas County Memorial Hospital. With summer donations often impacted by travel and busy schedules, officials say maintaining a stable blood supply is critical.
“The temperature is rising, and so is the need for blood,” said Michelle Teter, CBCO Media Relations Representative. “Summer is always a challenging time, but your donation can be the gift of life to someone in your community.”
