The Willow Springs Lions Club is once again helping make reading easier for everyone by donating $1,250 to the Willow Springs Public Library. The annual gift is used to purchase large print books, which are especially valuable to seniors and others who find standard print difficult to read.
“We’re proud to support our library and help provide books that everyone can enjoy,” said Dennis Asher, Lions Club president. “Large print books open the door for many in our community to continue their love of reading.”
Library staff expressed their appreciation, noting that the donation makes a real difference in keeping the collection strong and accessible.
The annual library gift is just one of the many ways the Willow Springs Lions Club serves the community, alongside youth programs, vision care, and family events.
