Willow Springs, MO. – Many staff positions will see a pay increase in the Willow Springs R-IV School District following the Board of Education Special Session that was held on Tuesday, May 31, 2022. Along with raises, the district voted to participate in the state grant program to bring eligible teachers up to a minimum starting salary of $38,000 per year.
The pay rate increases will effect a number of positions with in the district. A
- 3% increase to the base on the certified salary schedule
- $2,500.00 added to the base of the custodial, para professional, secretarial, and food service salary schedules
- $1,518.00 to the base of the school nurse salary schedule
- $500.00 to the base for the bus driver’s salary schedule
- add a 1.10 multiplier for the school resource officer
Additional benefit increases included increasing the board paid cap for the district health insurance plan from $454.00 to $469.00 per eligible employee, per month. The motion was presented by Adam Webb and Seconded by Matt Hobson. Motion carried 7-0.
A Motion by Matt Hobson, seconded by Adam Webb to approve the certified salary schedule which includes columns for eligible teachers to reach $38,000 minimum starting salary. Motion carried 7-0.
