A 55-year-old Willow Springs woman was seriously injured in an accident Sunday afternoon on UU Highway 10 miles east of Cabool.
The accident occurred when the 61-year-old male driver ran off the roadway, overcorrected and struck a fence and a tree.

The Willow Springs woman was transported to Texas County Memorial Hospital for treatment, the driver was not injured according to the crash report, neither person was wearing their seatbelt.
The driver was cited for Leaving the Scene of an Accident, Driving While Revoked, Careless and Imprudent Driving Causing an Accident, No Insurance and No Seatbelt.
