The West Plains Zizzers took on the Bolivar Liberators in the District 6 Championship on Friday, November 11, 2022.
The Zizzers began the game with a touchdown, followed by a recovered Liberator fumble to another Zizzer touchdown, ending the first quarter ahead 14 to zero. The second quarter began with a field goal by West Plains. The Zizzers made two more touchdowns before halftime, with one being a 50 yard run by Carter McCracken and a lead of 31 to zero.
West Plains continued in the third quarter, starting with an 81-yard touchdown by Briggs Houston. The Zizzers ended the third quarter with the last score made in the game, taking their lead to 45 to zero. The fourth quarter saw a turboclock and not much movement of the football and ended with the West Plains Zizzers claiming the District Championship.
The West Plains Zizzers soundly defeated the Bolivar Liberators 45 to 0. Their next game will be on Friday, November 18th at 7:00pm in a quarter final rematch against Hannibal.
