SHARP COUNTY, Ark. — The Sharp County Sheriff’s Office released its weekly community service report, noting that inmates completed 192 hours of service between November 23 and November 29, 2025. Chief Deputy Kevin “Bart” Simpson said the hours were accumulated through several projects across the county.
Participants contributed labor at Tri County Recycling, Eutopia Missionary Baptist Church and Cemetery, the City of Evening Shade, and the Cave City Fire Department. All work was completed under the supervision of Community Service Coordinator Brian Watson.
According to the sheriff’s office, the program allows inmates to work off fines while providing needed assistance to local communities and public agencies throughout Sharp County.
