Angela Dawn Brown, 50, of Benton, IL, departed this life Tuesday, May 20, 2025, at St. Louis University Hospital in St. Louis, MO. She was born October 13, 1974, in Poplar Bluff, MO, to the late Raymond (I) and Diana (Roberts) Meyer.
Angela was an administrative assistant throughout her career, most recently with Auffenberg Chrysler of Herrin. She was known for her warm, caring, loving, and vibrant personality. She had a big heart and never met a stranger. As the first grandchild on both sides of her family, her arrival was a celebrated and cherished event. Angela was not only admired for her inner kindness but also for her graceful presence and impeccable appearance. Angela was a great cook and was always pleased when she could share her culinary skills and passion with others in sharing delicious meals with family and friends. Angela will be remembered for her loving spirit, radiant beauty, and lasting impressions she left on everyone she met.
Surviving is her brother, Raymond (Jill) Meyer, II of Valley Park, MO; grandmothers, Faye Meyer of Fairdealing, MO and Helen Pigg of Doniphan, MO; aunt, Shelbia McGonigal; aunt, Cathy (Joey) Clairday of Searcy, AR; uncles, Edward (Tabitha) Meyer of Fairview, TX and Danny (Sylvia) Pigg of Doniphan; nephews, Brandon Meyer and Morgan Smith; and cousins, Stacy Bodkin, Brittney Bounds, Casey Vallance, Joey Clairday, Matthew Clairday, and Josh (Shelby) Meyer.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, June 7, 2025, at Ward Cemetery with Pastor Jared Hancock officiating.
