Arthur Howard Ferguson, age 77, passed away on January 11, 2023, in West View Care Center, West Plains, Missouri, with his nephew and niece by his side. He died of natural causes and passed in peace with no pain. Howard had a solid relationship with the Lord. He was born on August 2, 1945, in Cortez, Colorado, to Vernon and Elva (Goforth) Ferguson.
Howard was the youngest son, and he moved to Eminence, Missouri, in 1954 with his family. He was drafted into the Army in 1970 and was always proud of his service. He was a hard worker and enjoyed hunting, traveling, and his guns and gun club friends. Howard had a great love for animals, especially horses, dogs, and cattle.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Vernon and Elva, and six brothers, Curtis, Willis, Leemon, Bernis, Vernon Ray, and Lowell.
Howard is survived by his sister, Reva Davis, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins, too many to mention by name.
He will be greatly missed by his family and community.
