Betty Jo Ellis, 80 years, 9 months, 22 days old, passed away on February 15, 2023 at Heart of the Ozarks Healthcare in Ava, Missouri.
Betty was born April 24, 1942 in New Londen in Ralls County, Missouri to Willard Wilson and Josephine (Little) Armentrout.
Betty and James R. Ellis were united in marriage and they were blessed with one son, James Dale.
She was a retired truck driver and a member of the Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, parents and her husband, James R.
Betty is survived by her son and wife, James Dale & Lea Ann Ellis of Belton, MO; grandchildren, James David & wife, Courtney and Megan; one great granddaughter, Everly; siblings, Helen Spurgeon and husband Lee of Ava and Kenneth Wayne Armentrout, Sr. and wife, Rose Marie of Campo, CA; nieces, nephews and friends.
Cremation services are being conducted by Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, MO. She will be laid to rest with her husband in the National Cemetery in Leavenworth, KS.
