Betty Louise Parker, 93, of Doniphan, MO, departed this life Wednesday, May 21, 2025. She was born July 4, 1931, in Brownwood, MO, to the late Richard Albert and Maude (Gibson) Davis.
A devoted homemaker, Betty took pride in creating a warm and loving home for her children. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. Betty was also a gifted craftswoman with a special talent for making jewelry which was her favorite pastime. Her handiwork brought beauty and joy to others. She was of the Baptist faith.
Betty was married to Archie Parker who preceded her in death in 2001. She was also preceded by a son, Billy Jerls, and her siblings which included three sisters and three brothers.
Surviving are her children, Pat (Archie) Parker of Doniphan, Doris Butler, also of Doniphan, Steve Jerls of Washington, Pam Pulley of Poplar Bluff, MO, Donna Elfrink, Jane Parker, Brenda Parker, and Johnny Parker, all of Doniphan. She also leaves behind many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held in the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, May 24, 2025, beginning at 1:00 p.m. with the funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, and Patsy Weaver will serve as officiant.
