It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Brad King, who departed this life on December 5, 2025, at St. Bernard’s Medical Center. Brad was deeply loved and will be forever missed by all who knew him.
Brad is survived by his loving wife and best friend of over 25 years, Ashley King (45), of the home; and his children, Taylor Flanigan (29) and her husband, Jesse, Madison King (20), and Bently King (13), all of Manila, AR. He was a proud and devoted grandfather to Ryver Flanigan (9) and Brynn Foster (7). He affectionately called Ryver his “Sassyfrass” and Brynn his “Brynny,” and he absolutely doted on both girls, loving them with his whole heart. He is also survived by his father, Billy King of Willow Springs, MO; his brother, Jackie Eaton of Willow Springs; and his sister, Heather King.
He was preceded in death by his cherished grandparents, Maggie A. King and Burt King. Maggie’s passing in 2011 left a lasting ache in his heart, as their bond was one of deep, lifelong love.
Brad proudly served his country as a U.S. Army Veteran of the Iraq War (Operation Iraqi Freedom, 2003). His service and sacrifice will always be honored and remembered. Above all, he will be remembered for his deep love for his family, especially his wife, children, and grandchildren, who were truly the center of his world. His memory will live on through the lives he shaped, the love he gave, and the countless moments his family will forever hold close.
