Charlotte Ann Cox was born on March 28, 1942, in Springfield, Missouri, to Earl and Beatrice (Lowery) Williams. She passed away October 18, 2025.
Charlotte married Stanley Conway and to this union two daughters were born, Lisa and Stacy. She later married Don Cox of Willow Springs. Don and Charlotte enjoyed hunting and fishing together, riding the backroads, and especially spending time with the grandkids.
She worked at Angelica Uniform factory in Eminence for many years and then transferred to the Summerville plant when Eminence closed. When she retired, she and Don managed Mountain View Mobile Park until Don’s death. Charlotte then moved to Winona to be closer to family. She loved to sew and crochet for as long as her eyesight would allow it. She made many of the girl’s clothing and formal dresses when they were young and made sure everyone in the family had an afghan of their own.
Charlotte is survived by her daughters, Lisa (Macklyn) Simpson, and Stacy (Woody) Haynes both of Winona, MO; grandchildren, Brianne (Casey) Yardley, Brittney (Jonathan) Thompson, Brady (Kylia) Haynes, and Cody Haynes all of Winona; great-grandchildren, Hattin and Wells Yardley, Landon, Eli, Jase, and Clay Thompson all of Winona; nephew, Jeffrey Clark Williams; nieces, Diane Williams and Suzanne Kleiber; great-nieces, Kristen Williams and Chelsea Cagle; and sister-in-law, Kathy Salter all of Indiana.
Preceding her in death are her parents, Earl and Beatrice Williams; brother, Earl Clark Williams Jr; nephew, James Earl Williams; aunt, Clara Marie Parker; and her husband, Don Cox.
