Christopher Allen, 42 years, 11 months, and 18 days old, passed away on June 10, 2025, at his home.
Christopher, the son of Curly and Janice Rawlings, was born June 23, 1982, in Springfield, Missouri. He had one sister, Deevala Miles.
Christopher was preceded in death by grandmother, Wanda Woolman, grandfather, Bobbie Lambert, grandmother Jo Engelhardt, and grandfather, Earl Engelhardt, and one sibling, Jason Posey.
Christopher is survived by his parents, Curly and Janice Rawlings; his sister and her husband Deevala and Caleb Miles; and his pride and joy skittle sharing nephew Mack Miles; and host of family and friends.
Christopher always put others before himself. He was a talented carpenter. He could take your idea and build it without plans. He was your go-to guy for any need, any time of day. He lived to bring others joy and laughter. Christopher walked through fire and made it through the other side just to turn back and bring out any and every person he could. There is no obituary on earth that could sum up the life of Christopher, but if he would want anyone to know one thing it would be this:
“No matter how dark your situation God says, ‘you are coming out.’ When a train goes through a dark tunnel you don’t throw the ticket away and jump off, you sit and trust the engineer. Trust God.”
Graveside services for Christopher will be Friday, June 13, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Ava Cemetery. Visitation will be prior to the service at 9.00 a.m. in the Clinkingbeard Chapel. Officiating will be Chaplain Curly Rawlings and his sister, Deevala Miles. Memorials may be made to the family as a love offering.
