Daniel “Danny” James Gorham, 78 of Thayer, MO, passed away on March 10, 2026, surrounded by his family at Brooke Haven Healthcare. He was born on August 29, 1947, in Boston, MA, to the late William F. Gorham and Mary Colbert Gorham.
Danny was a devoted son, brother, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He was of the Catholic faith. Danny served in the United States Air Force for 5 years. Following his time in the Air Force, he worked for the United States Post Office for 30 years, and then he worked for the Florida Department of Probation office for 15 years.
Danny is survived by: his youngest son, Alan Edward Gorham (Vanessa); 10 grandchildren, Daniel Gorham (Ashley), Alan Gorham, Jr. (Natalie), Breanna Golden (Jacob), Nocholas Gorham, Hailey Gorham, Samantha Gorham, Kathrine Gorham, Cathy Tompkinds, Nicki Tompkins, and Emily Tompkins; 6 great-grandchildren, Sage Gorham, Emery Golden, Hudson Golden, Carson Gorham, Patrick Clay, and Abigail Cunniffe.
Danny is preceded in death by: his parents; his oldest son, Chris Gorham; 3 sisters, Margaret Gibson, Mary Keely, and Dorothy Curry; 1 brother, William F. “Gus” Gorham
