Donnie Parker Samons, 77, of rural Williford, Arkansas passed away Thursday, August 8, 2024, at White River Medical Center in Batesville, Arkansas. He was born July 11, 1947 in Corning, Arkansas to Freeman and Olidean Parker Samons. Donnie worked in the logging industry and he was a bus driver and “jack of all trades” for the Imboden area charter school. He also thoroughly enjoyed training and riding horses and mules.
Donnie was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, James Samons; and a step-daughter, Lacey Cotter.
Survivors include his wife, Lisa Lewallen of the home; a son, Heath Samons (Kelly) of Corning; a step-daughter, Channing Earls (Colin) of Ravenden, Arkansas; three grandchildren: Cole Williams (Natalie Thompson), Chacey Earls, & Miley Cotter; two sisters, Linda Masterson (Larry) and Shelia Price (Bobby); many other relatives and good friends.
