Jean’s greatest joy in life was her family. She treasured time spent with her children, grandchildren, and extended family, and her home was always a place of warmth, laughter, and open doors. Jean truly never met a stranger and had a natural gift for making everyone feel welcome and at ease.
She loved the simple pleasures of life, especially going fishing, traveling, riding horses, and spending time visiting with friends and family-whether near or far. In her younger years, Jean worked at a chicken farm, where she was known for her strong work ethic, determination, and willingness to do whatever was needed. Those same qualities carried through her life and were reflected in the care and love she gave to her family.
Jean’s kindness, resilience, and friendly spirit touched many lives. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her or crossing her path, but her memory will live on through the many lives she touched and the love she shared.
No services are planned. Cremation arrangements were under the direction of Yarber Mortuary, Mountain View, Missouri. Condolences may be expressed at www.yarbermortuary.com.
