Dwyane was full of stories and tales of the wondrous and crazy things he had seen in his 20 years in the Navy. He served in Vietnam and Kuwait, and the years he spent with the Construction Battalion (Seabees) took him all over the world from Adak, Alaska to Antarctica and everywhere in between. He visited 87 countries over the course of his service. He was a heavy equipment operator, a blaster, a water well drilling tech, and an expert rifleman. In his retirement, Dwyane was an avid hunter and fisherman, a conservation enthusiast, and spent many years volunteering. He had many enjoyments in his life; however, he especially loved building and fixing things. He will be greatly missed by his family and all who knew him.

Dwyane is survived by his wife of 33 years, Mary; daughters, Hanna, Isabelle, and Tara; son-in-law, Matt; sister, Marion; and his dear lifelong friend and brother, John.

A celebration of life ceremony will be held at 10AM, August 16, 2025, at the Westside Family Life Center in Willow Springs, Missouri with Pastor David Lovan officiating. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, those who wish to contribute help with funeral costs. Contributions can be sent to The Dwyane Jones Benefit account at West Plains Bank or to his wife, Mary Jones. Arrangements are under direction of Willow Funeral Home, LLC.
