George was united in marriage to Wanda Joyce Lay on October 14, 1950, and to this union, three children were born.
George was preceded in death by his wife Wanda, his parents, son, son-in-law, six brothers, and one sister.
Survivors include two daughters, Ronda Labbee of Elk Creek, MO and Vicki Cooper and husband, Danny, of Willow Springs, MO; one brother, Jimmy Smith of Laramie, WY; one sister, Marie Albush of Eugene, OR; six grandchildren, Sheila, Elise, Joshua, Daniel, Nathan, and Amanda; thirteen great-grandchildren, Callen, Adam, Cierra, Brett, Oakley, Dylan, Dakota, Malachi, Micah, Maddox, Tanner, Trevin, and Trinity; and one great great grandchild.
Private graveside services will be held at Clear Springs Cemetery, Mountain View, Missouri with Minister Nathan Cooper officiating under the direction of Yarber Mortuary, Mountain View.
