It is with great sadness the family of James Arden Edmonds announces his passing on September 20, 2020, in Crystal City, Missouri. James was born on October 18, 1934, in St. Louis, Missouri, to James Theodore and Eugene Louise (Tillotson) Edmonds.
James was united in marriage to Donna Zarnoski on June 5, 1954, in Mountain View, Missouri, and to this union, six children were born.
James was a member of the Order of the Arrow and received the district award of merit. James was a devout catholic.
He is preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Teddy; and sisters, Ida Mae, Grace, and Mera Lou.
Survivors include wife, Donna; sister, Kathleen; six children, Denisa Dulzo and husband Herb, James Edmonds and wife, Deborah, Michelle Dietrich and husband, Dave, Patrick Edmonds and wife, Mar, Joseph Edmonds and wife, Carol, and Gregory Edmonds and wife, Kelly; nineteen grandchildren; and eighteen great-grandchildren. James was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by many friends and loved ones.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 25, 2020, at Greenlawn Cemetery, Mountain View, Missouri with Father Rajarao Gona officiating, under the direction of Yarber Mortuary. Condolence may be expressed at www.yarbermortuary.com.
