Janet Marie Heier, 90 years, 2 months, and 26 days old, passed away on, May 5, 2024 at Heart of the Ozarks Healthcare Center with her family by her side.
Janet was born February 10, 1934 in Crofton, Nebraska to Henry and Lillian (Kollars) Leader.
On August 20, 1955, Janet and Wilbur Heier were united in marriage in Hartington, Nebraska.
Janet enjoyed quilting, painting, gardening and ceramics. She really liked geneology and working on the family tree. She loved spending quality time with her family.
Janet was preceded in death by her parents; son, Christopher Robin Heier; sister, Darlene; and two brothers, Dallas and Ronnie.
Janet is survived by her husband, Wilbur; four children, Scott Heier and wife, Judy Ann, Jill Frank and husband, Chris, Quinn Heier, and Judy Faye Plaster and husband, Tim; eleven grandchildren, Robyn, Valerie, Luke, Alex, Brian, Aaron, Katie, Heidi, Holly, Emily, and Annie; six great-grandchildren, Eli, Emmie, Carter, Charlotte, Anastasia, Ruby, and Christopher Robin on the way; sister, Vonnie Wade and her husband, Bill; and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Janet will be Thursday, May 9, 2024 at 10:00 AM in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Homes, Inc., Ava, Missouri with burial to follow in the Ava Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 9:00 AM to service time. Officiating will be Pastor Luke Frank.
