Jacqulyn D’Ann Owens, age 46, of Mountain View, Missouri, passed away on November 18, 2025, at her home. She was born on June 3, 1979, in Phoenix, Arizona, to Jack Darrel Petersen and LaNora Kaye (Thomas) Petersen.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and LaNora Peterson.
Jacquie is survived by her loving husband of 26 years, Eddie Ray Owens; their children, Logan Ray Owens (wife, Lillian Davon Wright Owens), Téa D’Ann Owens, and Ruger William Owens; and her cherished grandson, John William Wright Owens
After marrying Eddie, Jacquie was working at Birch Tree Senior Aging. Once she left that position, she began working at Smith’s Flooring’s Warehouse. Later, she shifted to Roberts Wood Products, a role she held until the birth of their daughter. At that point, Jacquie became a stay-at-home mom and cared for their youngest children, Téa and Ruger. When she returned to work, she began a job at Cooper Farms cleaning stables and caring for horses. Jacquie thought of the Cooper family as family, and after they moved away, Jacquie started her own house cleaning business, which she ran for several years. She later transitioned to a custodian role at Mountain View-Birch Tree School District, where she formed strong connections with students and teachers. Most recently, Jacquie worked at Walmart, where she had just earned her five-year pin.
Jacquie lived a life filled with love, strength, and an adventurous spirit. She found peace and joy in the outdoors-whether hunting, spending quiet mornings in the deer woods with Eddie, or finding renewal in the mountains and at the beach. Above all, her greatest joy was time spent with her family. Her warm presence, generous heart, and steady loyalty will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Her family honors her memory and the life she lived, grateful for the moments and love she shared.
