He was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Leonard and Mary Etta (Lancaster) Williams, paternal grandparents, John Edwin and Martha Marie (Stutenkemper) Niebruegge, and two nieces, April Burgess and Amanda Stenger.
Kēvin worked as an IT Specialist at Fort Leonard Wood. After 25 years of civilian service, he retired in 2008. He was dedicated to the mission and his work will have lasting impacts. He received many awards and promotions for his hard work and accomplishments. He was passionate and was a great mentor and coworker.
Kēvin also had a love for farming. In his youth, he could be found on many hayfields bucking haybales for various local farmers and learning all he could about dairy farming. He would later own his own dairy farm and beef cattle, but his true passion was horses. Kēvin and Judy have bred many quality horses over the years, finding them homes across the country and even overseas.
Kēvin had a passion and love for music. Like most musicians, Kēvin was involved with music at a young age. From singing in the backseat of the car on road trips with his parents and siblings, participating in youth music groups in church, and the many local bands he was involved with over the years, Kēvin enjoyed music to the fullest. He played any show, gig, wedding, funeral, fundraiser, or community event possible. Kēvin truly had a gift and knew the importance of sharing that gift with anyone who would listen. Many days he would wake up singing and go to bed singing.
One of Kēvin’s favorite pastimes was to support his kids and grandkids at their many music, rodeo and sporting events. He was always rooting them on, along with their friends and teammates, giving words of encouragement and advice. He was one of their biggest fans.
Kēvin was the life of every party; the light that lit every room. He was full of life, and lived every day to the fullest. He never met a stranger. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
