She was married to Ernest Eldon Pruett on April 24, 1957, at Willow Springs, Missouri, and to this union, three children were born.

Lillian’s life was centered around two things she cherished most-her family and her faith. Nothing brought her more joy than celebrating her loved ones’ accomplishments, sharing in their laughter, and making memories together. She loved playing games with her children and later with her grandchildren, and she delighted in the joyful noise of nieces and nephews filling the house.

But her love didn’t stop with her own family. Lillian opened her heart and her home to neighborhood children and friends, making everyone feel like part of the family. For decades, she poured her heart into teaching Sunday School at Oak Lawn Church of God, where her faith and love for children left a lasting mark.

Lillian had a gift for making people feel seen, valued, and loved. She showed this not only through her kindness and encouragement but also in the meals she lovingly prepared, believing that fellowship around the table was just as important as the food itself.

Lillian was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest; her parents, Earnest and Maude Fehr; one granddaughter, Stephanie Baker; three sisters, Tillie Daniels and husband, Robert, Martha Fehr, and Dorothy Fehr; and great-grandchildren, Lacey, Gage, and Eli Gavin Pruett.

She is survived by her children, Alma Pruett of Cabool, MO, Joe Pruett and wife, Susan of Mountain View, MO, and Thelma Baker and husband, Leo of Lebanon, TN; six grandchildren, Joseph Raith, Rachelle Hanning, David Pruett, Isaac Pruett, Toby Pruett, and Heide Taylor; eighteen great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In her 94 years, Lillian’s warmth, generosity, and steadfast faith touched countless lives. She leaves behind a legacy of love that will continue to inspire those who knew her.
