Mary Helen Springer

Beloved mother and friend to all, Mary H. Springer was born in West Warwick, RI on May 1, 1933, the only daughter of Thomas and Esther Ennis.  She passed away unexpectedly, April 30, 2022, at the age of 88. She was surrounded by loved ones, family, and friends.

Mary graduated from Holyoke High School in Massachusetts.  She was a majorette and track star, participating in the running broad jump.  She was scouted for the Olympics for running broad jump, but a bout with rheumatic fever prevented her from pursuing that opportunity.

Mary is survived by three children Mark, Eileen and Brian, multiple wonderful grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her two daughters Jamie and Jodi.

Mary retired from Aerospace Manufacturing to Cabool 30 years ago with her late husband, David Springer.  She was a generous, kind, and loving person.  She had a wicked sense of humor and could bring laughter to any situation. Her kindness was known by many in the community and her love for animals was always evident. She offered loving words, encouragement, support to all who needed it and laughter at the drop of a hat.  She was a firecracker and life of the party, as she loved to make others smile and laugh regaling stories of her life experiences.

She lived a full and wonderful life, was dearly loved by her family, and will be profoundly missed by all who knew her.
